Budget Tip: Cut out or cut down.

What can you cut out or cut down in your budget? There are several things you can cut down or out. You don't need to give up everything, if you really enjoy it, keep it, and cut something else.

For example, your phone bill. Can you go to a cheaper carrier once your contract expires? The cheaper carriers use the same networks as the expensive ones. Can you cut your cable bill, maybe switch to over the air, or are there channels you don't watch?

Do you drink coffee or tea? Can you make it at home sometimes? Can you bring your lunch to work or school a few days a week?

How about your cable or streaming bills? Can you cut back or do you watch everything you pay for regularly? Can you rotate services every few months so you're not paying for all of them every single month?

I don't know much about gaming, but maybe there are subscriptions or other expenses you can cut there as well?

Again, these are just some examples, you get to decide if you want to cut some things and not others, or not cut out anything. What examples can you and your kids come up with that you may or may not want to cut? I'm curious to hear. If you'd like me to know, you can contact me at info@moneyisnotadirtyword.com
